Superior 365-day return policy*
We grant our products a whopping 365-day right of return*.
During this time, the customer has the right to get to know the product in a way that is considered in terms of quantity and quality to be the same as if the customer were to get to know the product in an unopened sales package and its features when buying the product in a store.
*Does not apply to Outlet products. The return notice for products purchased at the outlet must be given within 14 days at the latest.
An opened product package is a purchase decision.
The right of return only applies to unused and salable products. The products and product packaging must be in their original condition, and all the accessories and devices that came with the product, as well as the ticket labels, must be included in order for you to receive a refund for the product return according to the conditions.
Note! We do not offer free customer returns. In this case, the original shipping costs paid will not be refunded, and the costs caused by the return will also be deducted from the amount to be refunded. If the product has been granted free delivery based on the price of the product or the number of products at the time of the transaction, in that case the original delivery cost will also be deducted from the product return refund when the transaction is concluded.
It takes 7-14 business days to process customer returns. This time consists of transportation time, processing time, and the time required for accounting procedures.
EVERY PRODUCT ORDERED FROM US IS CHECKED BEFORE DELIVERY TO THE CUSTOMER TO ENSURE CUSTOMER SATISFACTION.
How do I make a return FINLAND (excluding Åland)?
*If it is a detected error in the product or the product is broken due to a structural defect or a manufacturing defect, please contact our customer service by email at info@rat-gear.com (24/7), then we will give instructions on how to act. In this case, do not return the product without contacting us.
*If it is a return of an intact and salable product within 365 days from the date of purchase, the return will only take place via Posti, please follow the following instructions:
1. Attach a free-form message label with the product to be returned, with the following information written in clear handwriting (We need the information for possible contact in case of problems with the return of the product and to issue a refund. It is impossible to issue a refund if we cannot understand your handwriting):
- Your name, address, email address and phone number
- Product / products to be returned
- The reason for the return (so that we can improve our service)
2. Pack the product in a suitably sized package carefully and in such a way that the product is not damaged during transport. Note! You do not mark the original product packaging. Do not ship the product without protective packaging. You are responsible for the shipment and its condition until it has reached us.
3. Make sure that every part of the product / package is packed correctly and that all tickets, labels and instruction manuals and others that were delivered to you with the product are included.
4. Slip the free-form message note you wrote inside the package (see above) and close the package.
5. Make sure that no old address labels are visible in the package.
6. Write the Posti return code: 682114 on the package in clear handwriting
7. Take the package to the nearest Post office and tell the customer service representative that it is a RAT GEAR customer return and the job is done! (Remember to keep the return receipt!).
Note! Remember to keep the Posti receipt and tracking number from the return until the return has been processed and the refund appears in your account. Without a receipt or return shipping ID, we cannot take responsibility for the possible loss of the return shipment.
How do I make a return ÅLAND?

Refund
We will return the payment / refund when we have received and processed your return (processing time 7-14 days). The return / refund will be made to the payment method you used when placing the order.
NOTE! We do not offer free customer returns. The costs caused by the return will be deducted from the amount to be returned/reimbursed and neither will the original shipping costs be returned/reimbursed. If the product has been granted free delivery based on the price of the product or the number of products at the time of the transaction, also in that case the original shipping cost will be deducted from the product return refund when the transaction is concluded.
